As always, your riffs are insane.
Um...how do you get such a freaking clean mix?!
Thanks! Getting a good mix is all about getting the sounds right at the source, making sure you don't over-compress and load your tracks with a billion plugins and trying to find the balance between the instruments. Still a big work in progress but thanks! \m/
Love the instrumental metal chaos! If I were you I'd turn the reverb on the snare and toms down and maybe beef the kick a bit more. Otherwise, epic song!!
Thanks so much!!
Epic song!
Thank you very much!
Geez dude, do you ever not shred?!
Fun oldschool rock hybrid thing.
O.O
This is insane!! You sound record-label worthy!
Noice! A little more mixing could help, but very well made otherwise. Love your guitar sound.
keep the mixing mostly simple when it's just guitars (I usually have around 3 in the same time, one for the bassline, one as a lead and a secondary for whatever is needed, with the bassline one EQ'd to cut the lowest bits (150 hz or so) and include an acoustic bass, the lead has a bit more cut going to the mids as well since the secondary guitar covers some of that as well for a wider sound as the secondary is mostly mids) but when there's electronic sounds along instruments I do have quite a bit of trouble mixing stuff together). If you have any tips feel free to message, I'd really appreciate but do keep in mind I use stuff that are getting old by now (Shreddage 2 and Kontakt 5)!
Thise riffs are so good! Sound like Haste the Day or August Burns Red or maybe even Phinehas.
Those strings are super cool!
Thanks!
Cool! Very well-done drums and guitar sounds. I feel that the kick and snare could have a bit more presence though.
Super cool.
