Nice! Love the snare and the kick.
The intro sounds slightly off-beat though.

TSRBand responds:

Thanks for listening :) that intro's a bit funny!

Very fun and eerie at the same time. Can't wait to see the game.

Troisnyx responds:

(As I mentioned in "the haunted yard I," link to the game is in the description!)

Can't wait to see the game. What do you use for the orchestral sounds?

Troisnyx responds:

Ordinarily I would use a combination of soundfonts, Versilian Studios Chamber Orchestra 2 and BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover.

Not here, I didn't. I used Flex, a default plugin in FL Studio 20.

By the way, the link to the game's in the description -- it directs you to itch.io, as that's where the game jam was hosted, and I'm the only member of the team that made this short game who is even on Newgrounds to begin with.

The drums are ridiculously loud and the intro is really long. All in all, though, I like it a lot. What plugins/daws/loops (God forbid) do you use?

TheUnnamedPlayer responds:

The Plugins are Kontakt Shreddage 3 Rogue, Nexus, and Addictive drums 2. Thanks for the feedback~

The open hats/rides are a bit loud. Overall, though, I really love this song. Nicely done.

TSRBand responds:

Thanks for listening! Happy you dig it ♪ ♫

Pretty good, but it's very very empty.

SandDisplayMan responds:

Idk, I'll try to add sum more ambiences to the drop in near future :))

Pretty good, but it's repetitive.

VaraXMusic responds:

i mean... its riddim. it focuses on the repetitive part of dubstep.

Pretty good, but the beginning tune is a little repetitive.

baryiscool responds:

I can see how it could be a bit repetitive
I tried to not get it repetitive by making 2 melody's
and switching them up every now and then

but maybe i need a third melody to get that problem out

Very different from your other songs but Iove it!!

Benji-G responds:

Really glad to hear! :]

I gotta say this is one of the best dubstep songs I've ever heard on NG. What do you use for your bass drops?

EDIT: There's some pretty nasty clipping going on with the new vocals, and they're a little quiet. Also the "do you really think you have what it takes?" sounds VERY cheesy.

Benji-G responds:

Thank you so much!! All of the basses in this song are made by myself in serum :]

EDIT: Haha yeah, I agree with you ngl. It does sound cheesy af, but I just didn’t want that similar vocals to Vigorous, even tho it sounded better before.

i produce dark, gritty bass music in a variety of genres. although still trying to find my way, ive been working hard since 2018 at improving my craft.
